Costs are based on a normal undergraduate course load (30 credits) for the full academic year (Fall and Winter terms) in 2008-2009, and are subject to change. Lodging, food and other expenses are the estimated minimum amounts for eight months.

**Tuition rates are subject to change each academic year. Please note that international tuition rates for the following programs have increased by 8% in Fall 2008, with further increases planned for each subsequent year for the next several years: Math, Computer Science, Pure Science, Business, Law, and Engineering. The Scholarships and Student Aid Office helps students locate the financial resources necessary to cover the costs of their education. Here you'll find information on scholarship funding, government aid programs, McGill loans and bursaries, debt management, individualized budget counselling, and the Work-Study program.
McGill is proud of the quality of its students and their accomplishments, and it has an extensive program of entrance scholarships to recognize academic excellence. In 2008, the awards program was expanded into a dual system offering both one-year and renewable scholarships. Entrance scholarships range in value from the Basic $3,000 one-year to the Major at $3,000 to $10,000 renewable. Applications are required for all Major scholarships.
