Welcome to McGill University Residences & Student Housing!


Each year McGill welcomes 2400 undergraduate and graduate students to our dorms, apartments and shared-facilities houses.

In the summer, our residences are open to visitors looking for reasonably-priced accommodation in downtown Montreal.



Undergraduate Residences

Most of our residents are first-year undergraduate students, although a small number of upper year students return each year as student leaders. Click here fore more information about Undergraduate Residences.

Summer Accommodations at McGill

Summer accommodations to suit every price range are available from mid-May to mid-August. Stay in air-conditioned luxury and take advantage of the full conference facilities at the New Residence Hall (formerly the Hotel du Parc) or enjoy inexpensive accommodation in our dormitory-style residences just steps from beautiful Mount-Royal Park and Montreal's lively downtown.
