Communications (media relations) officers
Communications officers are responsible for researching, writing and
transmitting news releases about stories in their assigned faculties as
well as for coordinating media coverage generated by those releases. They
also write for the McGill Reporter, provide media relations
support and expertise for McGill-led and -hosted conferences and maintain
ongoing relationships with both faculty and journalists to facilitate and
optimize coverage.
